We have three children and seven grandchildren. And, two of our daughters are employed in Hopkins County and three of our grandchildren attend Como-Pickton School. I have a "staked" interest in Hopkins County and her future!"

"I am seeking the office of Hopkins County Treasurer because I believe I have the experience and skills required to fulfill the duties of the office. I have over 25 years experience in County Government, 14 of which have been spent working for Hopkins County. I believe that during this time, I have developed a good working relationship with my co-workers and with the elected officials of Hopkins County. I have an accounting background and have utilized my skills throughout my career. I have been employed as an Assistant Auditor and feel that these skills will enhance my duties as your County Treasurer."

"I feel the office of County Treasurer requires a steady and conservative approach to investing, receiving and disbursing county funds, as well as an informed approach to making certain that our employees and public servants are adequately covered with healthcare, during a time of skyrocketing costs. I feel that the duty of County Treasurer is to make certain that the office is in strict adherence to all banking and procedural laws, and pledge my support to serving you in a prudent and fiscally responsible way!"
