
Local golf enthusiasts traveled south to neighboring Wood County for the 10th Annual Fall Festival Golf Tournament, when Fall Festival activities shifted "to the links" on Monday. Tee-off time was 11:00 a.m. and featured 20 teams from the local area, according to Golf Tournament Chairman and organizer, Dusty Rabe. "We had a good response and saw participation from all areas of Hopkins County," denoted Rabe."We were pleased with this year's event!"

Overcast skies and cooler weather made the day more enjoyable for golfers as they took to the scenic Links At Lands End Golf Course, on beautiful Lake Fork. The scenic course has become a favorite golfing mecca for local golfers, who don't mind the extra travel time to play the course.

"family affair" as Sharon, Chase, and Charles all played for the Best Western
Trail Dust Inn Team.

2nd Place Team - Alliance Bank
3rd Place Team - Brookshires
Low Net Score
1st Place Team - Guaranty Bond Bank
2nd Place Team - Farm Country
3rd Place Team - Potts Concrete
